Resource: 1
I began with researching plot development and I learned that I essential need to begin with a rough draft for teh general direction of the story. I learned that by deciding the basic format for the ending that I could 'guide' the characters through a series of events that would build the tension until the climax.
I also did research on several personality types so that I may understand how other personality types think. I was able to find a tool that I can use to categorize personality types into a combination of different traits. .(Extroversion, Introversion; Sensing, Intuitive; Thinking, Feeling; Judging, Prospecting) Each personality type is a combination of four of these eight traits and it allows me to understand the weaknesses and strengths associated with each type of personality.
I also began researching demonology and the various monsters that have commonly populated other popular fantasy worlds. I was able to research the Hydra, Cerberus, and a variety of other creatures. There are still many more that I may be able to find useful I have decided to develop my own.

Launch : becoming an author
I have decide that i want to become an author because I love to entertain people with my stories. Earlier this school year I learned how to "display" my work by placing it in public vie for all to see. I believe that by placing my works on the blog i created for my fiction that i will be able to gain the knowledge of the public opinion of my work and learn how to improve my abilities by understanding what they enjoyed and how i can change what they didn't enjoy. Ultimately I would like to write a a fantasy that i have been working on for a long period of time and publish it. To reach that point i will need to research mythology, medieval cultures and civilizations (because the setting is medieval), as well as other novels to see which methods have worked and which ones have not. To demonstrate the development of my skills I will also work on several Short stories and post these to my blog.

HAFTA/WANNA
After high school there will be a clear difference between those who are chasing a dream, and those who have lost their dream. The truth is that nothing really changes in a person's life after the last bell rings. Yea their 'free' to do what ever they want to, but not every one does. Most that i have watched spend a year just to find a dream, if not longer in cases i have seen with some people i know who are my parent's age. People will remain generally the same, if they were lazy they will still be lazy (hopefully something gets them to change but that's not always what happens). Personally I have watched several squander their potential. One of my close friends, who will remain nameless, has great potential but he sits on his but all day and does nothing to work for it. I don't want to do that. I want to fight for something, through the ruff times and the calm ones. A life without struggle seems boring, and i don't want that. The greatest heroes of all time fought through some of the harshest of trials for something they wanted, be it freedom, equal rights, or just to put food on the table. That's what I want, to fight for something worth fighting for and I hope that I never change my mind about that.
